Third-Party OGL-d20 games/settings?

Michael Hopcroft

Just joined the .io group. I haven't been able to master listmaking for PCGen after some efforts, mainly because I can't write coherent code to save my life.

So anyway, if someone is willing to get back to me, I'm wondering just how many settings or rulesets are currently covered under the PCGen banner. I know that many publishers have invested heavily in paid datasets for paid software packages (you know very well who I'm talking about), but I'm curious if I could find out if there are publishers who at least don't mind having access to PCGen.

From the newest release (6.07.10 BETA) here's the "data" folder, with the relevant folders highlighted for who has content in the newest version.

There's also the "gameModes" directory, which is where rules specific to different settings/games live:

Does that help answer your question, or have I misunderstood it? :)

Yes, it helps.

There are a lot of OGL products that are pretty much available only on Drive-Thru. Some are actually interesting, if seemingly absurd (like the awakened-animal adventuring of things like Pugmire and Ponyfinder).

The only publisher that told us flat out no was Green Ronin. Others have either given us Full Permission or OGL + Title only.

Also Regan made a Ponyfinder set for Silver Games that you can buy. :)

Also have you switched to the Advanced Sources dialog to see what sourcebooks area already availible? :)
