I've just seen the same thing, so I just put in Data-3976 for it. Not a clue where to start troubleshooting that one, but I'm open to helping troubleshoot after I get back to civilization in two weeks

Just the gamemode has quite a bit of the base mechanics. But you might want to look at the docs for EXCLUDE. It lets you load the core book and then snip out the parts you are going to be over-writing

You mean sources? if you go into the advanced tab then you can restrict by book and then I guess you just need the pathfinder core rulebook source, under the paizo publisher, and the home-brew source

Although the plus 2 would bring total caster level of hunter above 8 so that may actually be the issue, maybe try with hunter 6 and ranger 2 and see if the issue is still there.
