Once we get the Pathfinder 2e set at a "reasonable" release point, I will do another release. Life has been hectic and my schedule to work on PCGen has been reduced to every other weekend.

ACG Believers Boon and SubDomains #pathfinder

I am trying to use the Believers Boon from the Advanced Class Guide using the Light subdomain.  I've opened the file acg_feats.lst and found that the Subdomains have not been entered yet.  I have tried several different ways to code it, but they don't work.  Actually what happens is on the exported PDF I get a list of every domains first level ability.  If I can be shown how to type out one of the subdomains, I might be able to type more for the community, time permitting.

This is what I tried to code for the Light subdomain (sun):

CATEGORY=FEAT|Believer's Boon.MOD    DEFINE:DomainSunLVL|0        ABILITY:Special Ability|AUTOMATIC|Domain Power ~ Blinding Flash|PREABILITY:1,CATEGORY=FEAT,Believer's Boon (Light)            BONUS:VAR|DomainSunLVL|1    BONUS:VAR|BlindingFlashTimes|BelieversBoonTimes

Thanks in advance.

Create a new Template in a template file:  "No More Encumbrance issues"

Place this tag in it "BONUS:VAR|LoadScore|40"

Note, that will alter those characters with it to act as if their Strength Score is 40 higher. But that will eliminate the encumbrance issues.

You could also just give the Hobbit a Bag of Holding.

Longer-term, go in and alter the weights Game Companies assign to items---but remember that weight also is meant to model size and shape, because some things are just awkward to carry around.

I am hoping someone can show me a fix for a load / encumbrance issue in PCGEN 6.08.00 RC8.  I have a Halfling Druid character that is constantly affected by a Medium or Heavy load (drops his speed, lowers AC, etc).  I have turned off both "Load Penalty" and "Weight Penalty" options in the House Rules section, but the penalties never go away.  Does anyone have any ideas how to turn those off permanently.  I am running a game for my kids and I don't want to throw encumbrance rules at them.

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Not proficient with Halfling Sling Staff #bug #pathfinder

Ralph Zajac

From the Pathfinder SRD: Weapon Familiarity: Halflings are proficient with slings and treat any weapon with the word "halfling" in its name as a martial weapon. (Emphasis mine.)

What this means is that any weapon with hafling in the name requires an exotic weapon proficiency for that specific weapon for most races. If the character is a hafling, they just need Martial weapon proficiency to be able to use all "halfling" weapons without penalty. You're character, while being a halfling, probably doesn't have martial weapon proficiency. Try creating a halfling fighter or ranger, and see if the penalty is still there. If it is, then there is a bug somewhere.

Not proficient with Halfling Sling Staff #bug #pathfinder

PCGen v6.08.00 RC8
Windows 10
Pathfinder data set (not PFS)

When I create a halfling aclemist (also tested on a generic halfling), if I try to add a Halfling Sling Staff, it show that I am not proficient.  I didn't change the racial trait that changes my racial weapons so I should be proficient.

House rules are broken for Encumbrance.

Not sure if there are any Java coders who can take a look and solve the issue.

Let me know if you need anything else.

Can Item Customizer Access Spells Beyond CR? #pathfinder

allencohn

Hello!

I've got both Core Rulebook and Advanced Players Guide loaded. I'm trying to create a potion of a 1st-level spell from the APG by selecting a generic potion from the Inventory | Purchase tab and then right-clicking to Add Custom. The spell list presented only seems to access the CR

Am I merely making a mistake and there is a way to get the customizer to access APG spells? If so, what is it?

Many thanks,

Allen

Allen,

There was an issue when refactoring all the classes and Bard got a little screwed up. There's a quick fix, though.

In .\pcgen\data\pathfinder\paizo\roleplaying_game\core_rulebook\cr_abilities_class.lst on lines 204-213, replace Cleric_CFP_Level with Bard_CFP_Level.

Actually, now I've found the "Bard Class Features" within the Feats & Abilities | Class Features tab. But I thought all those would be assigned automatically according to Table 3-3 (CR, p. 36).

I can't even click the list to assign them manually because the window below says I have 0 Total/0 Remaining selections.

What was I supposed to do to activate this?

Thanks, Allen
