French speakers?
Do we have any french speakers that also know the data? JB d'Amiens is trying to figure them out but everything is in English so they are having a hard time.

6.08.0rc9 to released by the end of the month
#releases
From Andrew:
Team - I'll do another power sweep of bug clean up before the end of month. I'm going to push out RC 9 for 6.08 in that time frame. If you have any last minute bugs (Oh please this absolutely must be fixed!) for 6.08, now is the time to submit. @Nylanfs (UTC-5) Spread the news so we can get this handled. -- --Paul Grosse --PCGen BoD, PR Silverback @Nylanfs

Ok great. I will try my luck over there and see what happens.

Re: Living Grimoire
The [Not Implemented] Indicates the data monkey was unable, unsure or did not want to hold up giving to folks. Best way to implement it requires an experienced data monkey to take a look. To get that, most enter a request on the PCGen Jira tracker. I can say, Spell Casting is the most difficult to tackle. I have seen quite a bit of activity from the Code Team, so it
might be possible here in the next few months. (No promises cause
the volunteers have crazy schedules)

Living Grimoire
Nicholas Hart
I'm trying to build a Living Grimoire Inquisitor and I'm having issues with spell casting. Living grimoires cast spells differently from regular inquisitors and while that shows up on my character sheet, it has [NOT IMPLEMENTED] before the description. How do enable this different type of spell casting?

Class creation
Elfin Strange
Does anyone know if the Spell-less Ranger from Kobold Quarterly Fall 2009 Issue 11 is available, or where I could get better instructions on how to add class features to a custom class than the documentation provided with the program? Thank you.

Well, the feat is being applied, but as it is implemented, it does not have a mechanical benefit. This is common with situational abilities that require you to do something to activate them. Tbose are typically handled by temporary bonuses. If you open up your uc_feats.lst file and add this line to the bottom of it (replace
<TAB> with actual tabs), it should give you a temporary bonus that you can turn on and off. CATEGORY=Feat|Snapping Turtle Style.MOD<TAB><TAB>TEMPDESC:Grants a +1 armor bonus to AC
<TAB><TAB>TEMPBONUS:ANYPC|COMBAT|AC|1|TYPE=Armor

Hi,
Maybe I missed something but the Snapping Turtle Style feat of my monk is not applied in the character sheet and I can't figure out why. I'm using version 6.08.00 RC8 with the Pathfinder RPG for Players source. Thanks! JP

Thoughts Regarding An Advanced Variant Of Avalon Hill’s Stellar Conquest
On the theory that if I wait until I finish this project I’ll never get to play it, the following are some ideas I have for modifying AH’s Stellar Conquest. It should become clear, however, that these modifications would change the game to such a large degree that it would, in effect, be an entirely new game, even if played on the Stellar Conquest mapboard.

Re: pcgenorg.atlassian.net down?
Once we get the Pathfinder 2e set at a "reasonable" release
point, I will do another release. Life has been hectic and my
schedule to work on PCGen has been reduced to every other weekend.

That's good to hear; what is the
release cycle process then? Do we anticipate further point
releases, or would the data files have to be pulled from git?

JIRA has just gone through a UI refresh. The dashboards are still accessible, just not the default entry any more. As for bug reports, absolutely, especially in the DATA files. Those are still in active development, even though the application may not be.

At least the dashboard is https://pcgenorg.atlassian.net/.
I've only done bug reports - I am no Java programmer. Is there still a point in maintaining bug reports, now that PCGen is in archive mode?

ACG Believers Boon and SubDomains
#pathfinder
swiftbrook8
I am trying to use the Believers Boon from the Advanced Class Guide using the Light subdomain. I've opened the file acg_feats.lst and found that the Subdomains have not been entered yet. I have tried several different ways to code it, but they don't work. Actually what happens is on the exported PDF I get a list of every domains first level ability. If I can be shown how to type out one of the subdomains, I might be able to type more for the community, time permitting.
This is what I tried to code for the Light subdomain (sun): CATEGORY=FEAT|Believer's Boon.MOD DEFINE:DomainSunLVL|0 ABILITY:Special Ability|AUTOMATIC|Domain Power ~ Blinding Flash|PREABILITY:1,CATEGORY=FEAT,Believer's Boon (Light) BONUS:VAR|DomainSunLVL|1 BONUS:VAR|BlindingFlashTimes|BelieversBoonTimes Thanks in advance.
