Basic Pathfinder files #pathfinder

GammaKnight

What are the bar minimum files that are needed to make Pathfinder work? I'm working on some home brew stuff that will have new classes and races, but I want to be able to still use weapons, basic stats, skills, and poisons/diseases. Thanks in advance.

I did look over there and didnt see it. I will see what i can do with the tutorials... Thanks!

Hi ejabean!

Homebrews in the wild, if you wanted to see if it existed BahamutDragon over on github *might* have it. Otherwise, making a class isn't too hard. Probably takes a few hours to get completed for a newb, but as I said, not too hard. Plenty of video tutorials and our documentation covers the tags.

Cheers,

Andrew

Re: Custom Deities #support

Paul Grosse

The best way is to make your own dataset for each campaign listing the changes and additions.

Andrew has made some video tutorials explaining quite a lot of the how to.

Custom Deities #support

pagamerboy

Forgive my ignorance. I am sure there is a way to add my own custom deities, but I don't seem to be able to find it, or if I did, I'm too clueless to realize I did.

Also, is there a way to switch between different sets of gods? I deal with several games, each with their own gods.

If it influences the answer, I am only using the Pathfinder part of PCGen.

Thanks and cheers!

Re: pcgen got stuck after viewing the character tab

Brad G. <brad.grinstead@...>

This is a known issue and is being worked on. For right now the workaround is to only work on one PC at a time per instance of pcgen.

pcgen got stuck after viewing the character tab

apodavini

Version 6.08.00 RC4
load a party (5 characters built with PF core rulebook).
go to the character sheet tab
try to switch to any other character, et voilà, PCGen is stuck.
See the log here below.
Any idea?
Thanks,
A

Re: Troubleshooting print templates

Andrew Maitland

Print Preview is another form of Export. Preview sheets are not part of that line up. Troubleshooting sheet should only be found on the Character Tab in the GUI (It's a debug tool, not meant for general consumption).

Cheers,

I'm pretty sure I saw troubleshooting templates before, but I can't find any more.
Tried to uninstall / reinstall everything, both 6.08.00.RC3 and 6.08.00.RC4. To no avail.
