Thank you. Now the only question left, is there a way to expand the list of animal companions the ranger can choose from? Thank you again Jason

Re: Info
When you first start PCGen, click on the Advanced tab at the top. and prepare to have your world expanded. :)

Hello I am really enjoying PC to help with our Panthfinder/roll20 campaign. Being new to all of this I have a few questions I hope you can help with. 1. It looks like you can only add 2 sources of data at once. The issue is I need the expanded ranger animal companion list, Boon Companion, and the core supplement rules. It looks like I cant have all 3 loaded at once. Am I missing something? 2. Other than the stock magic items how is one able to load an expanded list. Thank you again Jason -- --Paul Grosse --PCGen BoD, PR Silverback @Nylanfs

Re: Flight Maneuverability in PCGen
Hi Andrew.
Has this been fixed in RC8? I have attached a pcg file of my character. Manoeuvrability for me is Average, Fly Speed 20. My manoeuvrability becomes Perfect, Fly Speed 35 when I add Strong Wings as a Temporary Bonus. I add a -2 Flight Manoeuvrability temporary bonus to take the manoeuvrability down to Average but the speed remains 35 Also, I noticed that you can add +/- Walk speed under Feats&Abilities/Misc. Could you do the same thing with Fly Speed to deal with this? Thanks George

The Chronicle sheets lst files are fairly well organized. You just need to follow the pattern already presented. But you do need some experience with LST file writing, or at least the ability to spend some time reading the help files and experimenting. I’d look at the 8th season files for an example. The first few seasons were not as clear and not as optimized as to how they are implemented.
There was a web page somewhere that I originally wrote that I think was on pcgen.org that had some basic information about how the PFS stuff was organized. I don’t know where that is or if that is even still available now.
I’m not playing Pathfinder very much anymore and I’m not playing any other RPG so I’m not drawn to work on PCGen anymore as I have no more personal interest in it. I can answer specific questions, but I’m not available as a mentor.

Mark Means was the chronicle sheet maintainer for the PSF sheets. I helped set up the system ages ago. If you want to take a crack at it, then sure.

Thank you everyone so very much for your assistance. I’m getting my player and @caryn69 in touch. As a side benefit to our community, @caryn69 has just very kindly created a first draft of Mac installation notes and she welcomes people to review and offer suggestions. Check out the Mac support channel on Discord if you want to look it over. Thanks again! Allen

Paul, Yeah, I had to roust her. She's working from home (Global Pandemic), so she was actually earning a living... As if Gaming were not more important!

Re: Seeking Step-By-Step Installation Instructions For Mac

Allen, If you go to the Discord "channel" (board) and select the mac-support topic, there are some hints and tips, and my sister would be able to help out there (she's a SysAdmin). As has been noted, the really crucial aspect is Java installation. IF YOUR USER HAS NOT STARTED YET, HAVE THEM WAIT FOR MY SISTER (CARYN96) AND GO TO DISCORD. Once it's been trashed, it is almost impossible to get right (though a fix isn't too hard). SFH

The biggest issue is going to be getting Java working. Are they on Catilina or Mojave for their OS?

I was wondering if anyone had entered the chronicle sheets for seasons 9 and 10 of Pathfinder Society 1st Edition, as well as a particular module (Ire of the Storm, in this case).
If not, can anyone point a complete newbie to a good way to learn how to fix that? Thanks in advance, Joel

Re: [MODERATOR] Building And Modifying Constructs
Again, another linked blog page for what appears to be homebrew material. I fail to see how this relates to PCGen. Seems to be more
self-promotion of homebrew materials to a very ad laden blog page.
(And a very poor layout at that - Margins matter!) Consider this a MODERATOR Warning.
Posting for self-promotion and not related to the PCGen project
will end up in loss of posting privileges with this project. The purpose of these groups is to deal with PCGen related-issues. Please post your homebrew materials to more appropriate venues.

Color me confused. What is the purpose of this post? I see no OGL listing or publisher, so it appears to be just a
homebrew presentation for what I can only assume is the 3.x or
pathfinder d20 systems.

Nick, The merciful special ability is there. Like most
special abilities, you have to have at least a +1 enhancement bonus on the weapon before you can add the Merciful
special ability

Merciful Property
Nicholas Hart
Hi there, I am running a council of thieves campaign and I want to give my players weapons with the Merciful property (ultimate equipment) but it is not an option in the custom equipment list. I know I can just make it a +1 and add the description for it manually but I wanted to see if this could get added in. --Nick
