RC6 Modding output texts .CLEAR not working anymore?

Hi,
I have replaced a lot of spell descriptions with my own longer ones using a syntax like Mount.MOD DESC:.CLEAR DESC:blabla The tag .CLEAR used to wipe the original content. Now on the pdf output sheets I somehow get to see all my own texts PLUS behind this the original text. How can I avoid this?

My guess is that either something is messing with the registry, Java instalation and/or links causing the error.

PCGen 6.08.00 RC6 has failed to start after each of the last two Windows 10 updates.
Uninstalling and reinstalling PCGen resolves the issue.

Thanks Jason for getting back to me so promptly. I've had a look in Temporary Bonuses and can not find an entry for Armored Might. Do I need to have any particular source loaded or a check box ticked somewhere? Thanks George

Hi George,
The way PCGen works, there's no way for the ability to "know" what armor you're wearing. So the way Armored Might is coded is as a Temporary Bonus. If you go into the Temporary Bonuses tab, there should be an Armored Might option in there where you can pick the current value of your armor bonus, and it will correctly calculate and give you the right bonus. Hi Joel, If the profession doesn't already exist, you would need to either
hand code the new one (Not hard to do honestly), or place the
ranks is a similar profession and just note it is different in the
description section of the sheet. Program isn't designed to create new skills on the fly.

I've just seen the same thing, so I just put in Data-3976 for it.
Not a clue where to start troubleshooting that one, but I'm open to helping troubleshoot after I get back to civilization in two weeks.

When is the text distorted?Practical example. This is the text for one section in PCGen's Description/Campaign History tab: --- 100xp A6 Haunted Chamber: Desperate Prisoner trap, 100xp A7 Ledge Controls. Small Lightning Elemental, 150xp A8 Persuasion Chamber. Harzogopas, 100xp A9 Sludge Through. Acid Trap, 150xp A10 Who Goes There? Covered Pit trap - Good Baron Sarvo Wills It, 150xp A11 Clockwork Guardian: Clockwork Servant - GM Fiat, 100xp A12 Canteclure Treasury: Injured Ghoul, 200xp A12 Canteclure Treasury: Treasure Chests (Looting the Treasury): 18500cp, 4000sp, 115gp, 14pp, and a teak case with 30 gems worth 800gp in total. Next game: Get Homer healed from Ghoul Fever. At House of Abadar, exchange miscellaneous coin for GP, get Wand of Cure Light Wounds. The PDF. In PCGen proper, it looks fine. Basically, in the PDF, all of the CR/LFs are removed.

Campaign History/Description formatting?

I've made some extensive use of the Campaign History section on the Description tab. Despite me typing line-by-line, it reformats it into a mess of text that's near impossible to read.
So, is there a way to format the Campain History so that it doesn't do that?
